Fishing sites

Multia's views are beautified by numerous clear-water lakes, ponds and rivers with more than thirty rapids. Come and experience Multia's good fishing spots.

Please note: external websites are in Finnish only unless otherwise stated.

Multia's cooperative fishing permits for 2025 can be obtained from the OstaLuvat.fi website (fishing units, fishing instructions, payment). The website also contains a map of the lakes to which the permits apply. There is also a more accurate version of the map.

However, fishing in the area of the Multia cooperative is prohibited in the entire area of Multianjoki (e.g. Kurenkoski, Riuttakoski), Myllypuro (the stream that flows from Termity to Sinervää), Sarajoki and Saikanjoki. The basis for the ban is to improve the living conditions of the trout.

More information about rapids fishing and obtaining a fishing permit as well as fishing spots can also be found at http://www.palsankoski.fi.
